Please read this landscaping update from George Bagley and the Landscape Committee.
From the accompanying photos you can see the completion of our spring projects. All common areas including the tennis courts and paths have had a spring cleanup. All planting beds have also been weeded.
The large rocks on the Joshua Lane circle have been relocated near the edges of the circle to discourage trucks from driving over the shrubs and newly applied mulch. A bench has been added to the entrance for children to wait safely for their school buses. This is also to encourage them not to step on the emerging plants. The flowers will appreciate the help. The bench is secured with a chain and lock. We ask parents to help us with this initiative.
The landscaping crew will return at the beginning of July after the rhododendron have bloomed to prune where needed and to hard prune the rhododendron in the Joshua Lane circle. They will also edge the path leading to dock 1. Grass will be mowed on a bi-monthly basis.
