This is just a quick acknowledgment of the outstanding revitalization work on the path leading to dock #2 and special thanks to Shelly, Ken, and all the others who had a hand in transforming the ugly root-strewn and trip-inducing path into what it is now.
Though I'm fortunate to have a boat over on dock 1, I find myself including dock #2 in my daily walks with Jake [the dog] simply for the quiet solace of this serene oasis, away from the noises of Rt 28.
Transforming this path was no accident. Thoughtful vision and planning by Ken and Shelly and others ultimately led to a straightening of the adjacent wall and grading and resurfacing of the path with both crushed stones and mulch, resulting in what we have today.
It's also worth noting that, through clever design and the efforts of neighbors volunteering their time, this transformation was completed for a fraction of the cost that would otherwise would have been charged by professional landscapers.
A few other photos - enjoy!

It looks wonderful. Thanks to everyone who put so much work into making this look great as well as making it much safer to head down!
