What do picnic tables and Ospreys have in common? Nothing really, just wanted to send out an update on a couple of cool topics.
New Picnic Tables!
With special thanks to Ken McGowan, we are now starting to reap the benefit of Ken's vision for a fun meeting area next to the tennis courts. Gone is the ugly tree stump and in its place are a couple of brand new picnic tables that will get tons of use for both planned and unplanned events or just hanging out with friends! It's easy to imagine a fun afternoon of Pickle Ball followed by refreshments at the picnic tables for players and spectators alike!
More Osprey News
Ok, I'm obsessed with Ospreys, what can I say? Anyone who has walked by the Estuary Center recently may have noticed a couple of new developments. First, a pair of Ospreys has returned to the nesting tower near the parking lot. Great news for Osprey lovers. Even better, that particular nesting platform has been outfitted with a live web cam! Check it out:
So just a couple of local updates that obstensibly have nothing to do with each other. But if you do happen to be hanging out at the new picnic tables and a friendly Osprey decides to fly in and pay you a visit, be sure to welcome him/her to the neighborhood!
