We hope everyone has enjoyed an amazing summer as we all look forward to an equally enjoyable "second summer". Unfortunately, while some of us were enjoying some time away from our houses, some individual(s) with bad intent were up to no good in August.
First, a boat was cut loose from one of the neighborhood moorings causing it to drift downstream and become grounded in some weeds at the edge of the river. Fortunately, a neighbor from across the river saw what was going on and we were able to secure the boat.
A second unrelated incident involved a force break-in attempt at a Rivers Edge house that abuts the river.
Authorities have been alerted. At this time, there's no evidence to suggest that the two incidents were related except for the fact that both incidents appear to have involved river access. So, it is possible that a vandal had their sites set on targets that could easily be reached by boat.
The bottom line, is to make sure you keep your doors locked and use extra vigilance until the suspect(s) can be identified and detained by the police.
If you see something, say something!

We’ve had our golf cart stolen from our front yard over the weekend (08/19/23). For a cul-de-sac, we have a lot of traffic in/out of the neighborhood. Please remain vigilant if you see suspicious activity.
